We have found that most other chromate specifications are based around MIL-DTL-5541F. If you are unsure, send us a copy of the specification and we can review it.

What about MIL-C-5541?

MIL-C-5541 Class 1A and Class 3 have been superseded by MIL-DTL-5541F Type I Class 1A or Class 3. We can still certify to it. Contact us if you have questions.
